Halloween

Brayden was Spiderman this year for Halloween and Cody was tigger. Bray had a blast collecting candy - his favorite thing in the whole world, which makes Halloween his favorite holiday. We spent the evening in the cul-de-sac playing with all of our neighbors and friends. We ordered pizza and then set out to trick or treat. Brayden filled his entire batman candy basket and was all smiles all night.
I put up all the decorations today and he asked me "Mom, where did all the scary monsters go?" He loves monsters and all things scary, including bugs and spiders, the phrase "All boy" really does apply here. before the big candy event
kicked back and relaxed (in a princess chair)
kicked back and relaxed - as always. I know I say it a lot but, what a great baby!! The little devil phrase is a joke because Cody is the perfect angel.
ready to go!!
Brayden and Patrick just back from trick or treating

All the little kids from our street, they multiply by the day, 3 new ones in the last 2 months.
The loot.
Brayden wanted to get a better view of all his goodies so he dumped them on the ground and then began to pick and choose and eat and eat. A couple of big boys with scary masks came by while he had his candy out and he scooped it up real quick so the "monsters" couldn't get it. Then he said to me "mom are those monsters coming back?" I didn't know what he meant until he asked me a couple of times and when I said no, he dumped it all out again and started eating again.

Early Christmas??

I have been shopping on the internet lately and spending way too much money, but it is for a good cause. Brayden spent an hour playing in the popcorn from a box today. It was ALL over my house but worth it for the big smile.it's just a little messy here, but look out below! The phrase "Little Devil" on his shirt really does apply here. When I told him what his shirt said this morning he said to me "Mom, I am not the little devil, I am the BIG devil!" I know it is from all the BIG brother talk but it was so fitting.making popcorn angels, the closest thing we have to snow here in Texas.

Poor Cody

So I feel like I never blog about Cody. He is so super cute and so lovable and smiles all day. He is the best baby I have ever known because he sleeps!! He sleeps a lot, which is why I don't have as many pictures of him as I did of Brayden. It has nothing to do with him being the second child but just because he is so good and patient. Here are some of the latest and greatest photos of him. With his PawPawall bundled up for a walk outside, we finally got a cold front!Much cuter without that silly hoodself discovery in the mirrorEveryone says Cody looks like Bill

Pumpkin Patch

Every year we go to the pumpkin patch to play, pick out pumpkins and take pictures. This year was like all the others, very successful. It was a rainy day at first but ended up being perfect because it was cooler.

Sleeping giants

Here are both my boys asleep on the couch. Brayden looks so big compared to Cody but in reality Cody is big too. He weighed in at 11 lbs. 4 oz. yesterday at the doctor. They are both growing up so fast.

Fourth of July

Abby Boyce came to visit Nanny this week for "camp Nanny" and Brayden and I got to enjoy her company as well. We went to the parade in Nanny and G-Daddy's neighborhood this year for the Fourth and then watched the fireworks off of their deck. The kids had a blast in the parade. The fire truck sprayed them with the big hose and there was a big water slide. They had Amy's ice cream and donuts so the adults were happy as well. The fireworks were AMAZING. The people across the lake must have spent thousands of dollars on their private firework show which we got to enjoy. I have never been that close to such a great show.Brayden and his cousin Abby, modeling cowboy hats.

He loved the big slide, especially the pool at the bottom

Watching the fireworks

Here are some pictures of all of us watching the fireworks this year.Prior to the fireworks, enjoying the sunsetAbby and BraydenSeven years oldSeven months pregnantBrayden liked the ones in the distance but got scared with the ones up close. I don't blame him, they were so loud they were setting off car alarms.
