3 houses, 3 days and TONS of presents, an entire car full to be exact. Brayden loved opening presents this year, even more than last year.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at Brayden's cousin's house was loud! Six grandchildren all in one room opening presents was very fun! We managed to get one picture of them all together which was a major accomplishment.

My first try at dressing myself

Brayden tried to dress himself for the first time today. It was very funny watching him try to get all the parts in the right place. He constantly wanted to put both legs in the same hole and wanted to put his shirt on his legs.Ahh, finally got it!

Trail of Lights

We did the trail of lights fun run this year and it was pretty fun. A little crowded but probably not as bad as other nights. Brayden had a great time!

Too Cute!

We took these pictures of Brayden for a couple of Christmas gifts, but they turned out too cute not to include on the blog.

getting ready for Christmas

Brayden helped me put up all the decorations this year. He likes the tree the best and loves to take the ornaments off and say what they are. Here are a few photos of him in his favorite ornaments.gingerbread manlook Lily a heartahhh...the big man with the beardhorseycandy cane!!! yum!snowman - also sometimes referred to as Santa

Visiting Santa

We took Brayden to see Santa today and it was pretty funny. Brayden has been saying "Santa" at least 15 times a day and when you ask him what Santa is going to bring him for Christmas he says "Choo choos". But when it came time to sit on Santa's lap Brayden was not game. In the picture Santa looks afraid of Brayden so I guess it was mutual. He definitely had fun though riding the train afterwards.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was fun this year. We celebrated at Nanny and G-Daddy's house with the whole tribe. 4 grandchildren were there, along with 3 children, 3 in-laws, a cousin and boyfriend and daughter. Needless to say we made a little noise.Brayden enjoying a little dinnerBrayden and NannyBrayden, Chance, Cole, Abby and AmberThe kid table

Round Rock BBQ Cook-off

Bill and the Pearl Snap Cookers went to the Round Rock BBQ cook-off this weekend. I brought Brayden up on Sat. and we had fun playing around and sampling the foods. Brayden wasn't feeling too great due to an ear infection but we made the best of it. Zoey, PePaw and Nani came up to make a visit too. It was the inaugural trip for the new BBQ trailer which faired nicely. The brisket cookerThe whole gangtaking time out for some washer throwing - Brayden and Zoey style

Haley's b-day party

I had to include these photos from Haley's b-day party. Brayden is in LOVE with girls and this one in particular. He got down on Lauren's level and just started smiling and talking to her. They were both pretty giddy.

Texas vs. Oklahoma State

We took Brayden to the Oklahoma State game yesterday and he had a blast. We were really worried that we may have to come home early, instead we stayed late and cheered the horns to victory. Brayden's favorite part was the band, to which he danced all night and of course Bevo. He loved yelling "GO", we just need to teach him how to say "Go Colt"! Brayden's record since he was born is now 24-1, not bad for a future Longhorn.

Thomas the Train

on the train - pouting
Thomas in real life

Two year molars and Thomas the Train don't mix. We thought he was going to go crazy and love the entire time, it turned out we we wrong and our $50 worth of tickets lasted 1 hour, including the 25 minute train ride. Brayden's favorite part was the gift shop, where mom and dad tried to buy him anything to make him happy (another $50). We got home and finally figured out that the biggest molar you have ever seen was poking through his skin, we realized this was the reason he was so unhappy and dosed him up with Tylenol. In the rush to get out the door at 6:40am I also forgot my camera battery which is why the pictures aren't that great. I took them with my camera phone instead. We are not sold on the excitement of riding Thomas just yet and will probably skip it next year.
