Stuff on my cat

I know I always say Meeko is a good cat, but seriously any cat that would let Brayden do this is a good cat. He just sat there and I think he liked it. I know you are also going to say that I have way too many sippy cups, and you should know that this is only half of them.

Parker and Mattie's wedding

We went to a friend's wedding over the weekend and took the boys. They did great at the wedding and we all had a great time. I got some great shots of dad with his boys.

Hurricane Ike, puppy kisses and an Oasis

Bill's parents and brother came to visit to get away from Hurricane Ike. It was headed straight for Angleton and Lake Jackson at one point before it veered a little to the North. Cody turns ONE!

It came fast, I still can't believe he is one already. We had a couple friends over for a small party on the actual day. Cody had green icing from head to toe and needed a bath immediately. His second taste of cake went really well, I think he knew what to expect this time. Such a cutie!

First Day of Preschool 2008

Brayden went back to school today and things went so smoothly. I was so worried because he has been off all summer and bumming around the house. I thought it would be hard for him to get back in the swing of things but he seemed to adjust just fine. The school fairy came to visit him this morning and brought a new transformer backpack filled with new school clothes and some new Star Wars toys to take with him to school. He loved the idea of the school fairy and was so excited about the backpack. He practically ran into school when we got there and even forgot to say bye to me. He was so happy playing with toys when I left it was so great to see him so happy on the first day.
After school, I picked him up and he was all smiles again. When I asked him about his teacher Ms. Debbie he response was "She is awesome!" I probed further and asked what made her so great and he said she was great cause she played good legos. I am so excited for the year and hope today was a sign of things to come.

If you have time, you have to go back and look at the blog in Feb. 2006 when Brayden was eating mustard. The pictures are almost identical to the ones in this blog. I know I always say my boys are the most different things on earth but sometimes they even surprise me and do things exactly the same. Today was one of those days! When Cody pulled out the mustard from the fridge I almost died, I couldn't believe both boys could love squirting mustard in their mouths, maybe all kids like mustard squirted in their mouths? Who knows? All I know is my sister is gaging reading this.

Radijazz

Cody had his first trip to Radijazz today. The boys had a blast bouncing around on all the equipment. Cody liked the slide best.
