Halloween Night - 90 degrees outside

Halloween this year was 90 degrees and hot. Brayden's costume however was meant for 50 degree weather. We opted to put him in a "Little Devil" onesie for the beginning of the night and then forgot the camera for the second party. We did get a couple of him with pizza all over his face though. He wouldn't stay in the picture with all the neighbor children, but I thought it was too cute not to include.

First Day of School

Brayden started school today at OH United Methodist Church. He is one of 8 kids and 2 teachers in the class and goes on MW from 9-1. The first week went better than I expected and on Wed. he was ready to go back and have more fun with his friends. I am really happy with the program so far and so excited that we made it in.I'm ready!Let's go to school.Walking in with my cup.After a long day at school, he was super tired.

Don't take my Longhorn

Nanny and I went to the UT store at the mall today and Brayden picked up this stuffed longhorn. There was something about this particular longhorn that got him hooked and he wouldn't give it up. We tried many distractions but there was no giving in on Brayden's part. Nanny finally gave in and bought it for him and it turns out he STILL won't let go. It is his new sleeping friend and he carries it around with him like his blanket. It's a good thing his mom and dad approve.the death grip

"dee" - Brayden's word for deer. He gets so excited to see them at Nanny and G-Daddy's house. I think it was the first time he sat still all day.

Hear me ROAR!

Brayden is going to be a lion this year for Halloween so we decided to make a dry run in the costume. He doesn't really like wearing it and frankly I don't blame him since it is 95 degrees outside and the costume is furry fleece. He looks so cute it in though and hopefully it will get colder soon.

Pumpkin patch

We took Brayden to the pumpkin patch today. The pictures didn't turn out nearly as cute as they did last year. This year he wanted to throw the pumpkins instead of pose cutely by them. I managed to get a few pictures and Brayden managed to have a blast as usual. We went to Central Market afterwards for lunch and he played so well with Rylie on the playground. I was very impressed since I am normally having to leave early for behavior issues. I guess he is getting old enough and finally understanding or Rylie is a good influence :)

Driving Mr. Brayden

Brayden likes to drive the car these days and he especially likes to press all the buttons. This can keep us busy for hours.

Stickers!

What fun to put stickers all over your body. These power ranger stickers give him special powers I think.

An Apple a day...

You know what they say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, well in our case an apple a day makes Brayden smile. When I asked him what color his apple was, his reply was "purple".

What baby?

Can you belive how big he is? Check him out, no longer a baby for sure, he looks so much like a little man. We took these tonight in our yard, what a cutie!

Sleeping Brayden

He just looked so peaceful - not to mention BIG! It may be our first sleeping picture of Brayden, since I was so afraid to take pictures before this for fear he may wake up. You know what they say, never wake a sleeping baby.

Playdate friends

What a fun day! These are some of Brayden's friends eating lunch together. I think Brayden was too busy to eat any of his lunch but he did have a great time.

Cookie licking contest

I made chocolate chip cookies today and Brayden, Bill and Lily had a chocolate chip cookie licking contest to see who could lick the batter off the beater faster. I have no idea who won, but I can tell you they all had a BLAST!!

Concan weekend

We made the trip to Concan to the Frio River this weekend and had a blast. I didn't take too many pictures since we were having so much fun. Brayden swam and threw rocks and washers. He also made the most awesome tackle I have seen since the Rose Bowl. Ready or not - Longhorn O-line here we come. I saw Bill give lots of high-fives afterwards :)

Pudding Again!

I mean can you have enough pudding pictures?? Especially when Brayden LOVES pudding.

SEAWORLD!

We went to seaworld today and had a blast. Brayden did so well and we were so proud of him, especially since he got stung by a bee in the first 30 minutes. We saw lots of shows and played in the water park. It was a great, but hot day.

Neighbor friends

On friday afternoon we had the neighbors over for some slip-n-slide fun. Here is a picture from our day. Brayden is so lucky to have great friends right next door.

Bucket-o-fun

Holy bucket! We were in Lissie, TX (population 120) to visit my sister this weekend. Brayden found this bucket they fill for the new dog to drink out of. He decided it looked just his size and jumped in. Maggie wondering what was going on.

Brayden decided he wasn't gross enough and jumped in the dog carrier. I used extra soap during bath time that night.
